Xbox Music on Windows 8 PC error

Hi,

I have an Xbox Music Pass subscription payed for via my W8 Phone (Lumia 920) and I can stream music on the phone and on my Xbox 360 without any problems.

But when I try to stream or download music via the Music App on my Windows 8 PC I get an error stating I have a problem with my network. The App has signed me in correct and I am online. No other app or program gives me a network error.

The error code is;  0xc101008e (0x800c0008)

When I check the settings on both the Music App and the general Xbox Account page it says I have no devices added to my Xbox Music Pass subscription. There is no option for adding a device or PC on neither the web page or in the Music App.

Please help me with this.

Found a quickfix for this error. Don't know why or how it works but for anyone else with this error follow the steps below.

1. Open IE in desktop view

2. Choose Settings/Internet Options/Advanced

3. Press RESET. You DO NOT have to reset personal information.

4. Restart computer.

5. Fixed.

(Still no devices connected to my Music Pass sub, though. But I can stream music now.)

Glad to hear you got it situated After Nature. As far as adding devices to your pass, have you tried clearing the browser cache and cookies and even multiple browsers? Let us know. Thanks!

Thanks for your feedback.

Both my devices, PC and the Lumia, showed up as soon as I started downloading songs. So now it works as it should.

Thanks anyway. Hope someone can use this thread/info to solve similar cases.
