xbox live wont accept my billing information

Hi there

Im having a problem with inputting my billing information, i successfully entered it earlier today and used it to buy fifa points but when i tried again later i wasnt allowed to purchase more microsoft points saying my card couldnt be authorized.

i deleted the card information and tried to enter it again with no success being told there was a problem and to try again later which i did with the same error message.

i have contacted my bank and they have assure me it is not a problem on their end, anyone know how to fix this?

Please make sure your information is all correct at www.billing.microsoft.com if it is, and you might want to call Xbox Support and talk with the bill department as they will be able to help you.

i can't currently access that as it is tries to send a code to an email address i havent used in years but is due to update to a newer one in january but i have checked the billing information saved in the xbox account settings and it is correct and i have used the same information saved there for my new card i am trying to use.

what is the number for xbox support?

You could also try linking your card and billing information to a PayPal account, and linking this one to your XBOX.
