Xbox Live Renewal

So when I try and use the credit card payment method it keeps giving me error messages like 801901F7. And sometimes if I keep trying to purchase gold it says there is an error with your account pplease go to account/xbox/live.com and so I went there and the sight just kept asking for my Windows Live ID and confirmation, but didn't tell me anywhere what the problem was with my account. So what I'm wondering is does anybody know how to fix it?

Try checking the billing site to see if it shows any errrors there (https://billing.microsoft.com). If you can't find anything there call support and talk to billing.

Try removing and re-entering your payment method.  You could also check and make sure that your payment information exactly matches what the bank would have on record (address etc).  If there is an error it will not go through.
