I would suggest that you give it to them early becuase as Covert Affairs said someone could randomly guess it or maybe those msp generators search for recently purchased codes but then again I am not sure if those even work but I wouldn't let it sit for too long though if I were you. But no, there is no expiration date.

Just an fyi, "Points Generators" do not work. They are all Scams and nothing more. The OP should also keep in mind that while Purchased Cards (MS Points or Subs) do not expire, Promotional Codes" can and should be avoided as any gift for someone else.

Yes, you can stack up to 3 Years of Pre-Paid Sub Cards. Provided you don't have a Gold Account Active already, then it would be an additional 2 Years of Cards.
