xbox live account blocked from making purchases?

Does anyone know why this could be? Don't give me the answer "call support" because i've tried that and they were useless, so I tried chat, which seemed to help a little bit, but I have to wait 12 days for a response, which I don't have patients for, so does anyone have any idea why I get the message your account has been disabled from making purchases?

Please login to http:billing.microsoft.com and make sure all your billing info are up to date.

Second important thing : go to your Privacy setting from xbox.com/account or from your Console and make sure that the option "purchasing" is not blocked.

Let me know if that fixes.

Not at all but the site my Xbox told me to go to last night wasn't this one. It was www.profile/xbox/solutions.com go ahead try that if it works for you then hats off to you cuz I used 3 browsers and 2 different pc's and they all said it is not a site.

Ya that's the exact link my Xbox told me to go to but it doesn't exist. My console is downloading stuff fine again though. Not sure what was going on with that.

Last week I could not buy anything online or on console event though all methods valid and enough funds etc.

After contacting support here: support.xbox.com/.../contact-us

It turns out the issue relates to a risk block where by if you buy numerous items in a short time scale or have  suddenly bought something after a long break then the system automatically lock your account to prevent fraud.

To remove the lock please contact support as above and explain the issue.

Be aware it took 5 days for a resolution so please be patient.

Sigh I am having insane manifesto mounts if trouble contacting you guys no one is available over the phone all the support online is just instructing me on what to do and everytime I go to manage my account on the website it says "you have found a glitch in the system" so I can't event try to remove anything straight from the website
