XBLA Game (Outland) constantly crashes.

I just bought Outland yesterday, and I can't even play the game more than 2 minutes straight without it freezing and crashing. No other arcade games do this, no other games in general do this. I played the demo just fine, it worked wonderfully. I've deleted everything from that game five or six times, and re-downloaded it each time, and it still doesn't work correctly. Any ideas why?

When was the last time you cleared your cache?

 

Try clearing your cache:  Go to System, Storage, select the hard drive (but do not enter it) and Press Y.  Then select Clear System Cache.

 

After that, delete the game file and reload it.

 

Hopefully, this will resolve the problem.

Can you see if the game save file is corrupted.  If it is then delete it and try again.

I don't know how to check if a save file is corrupted, but I deleted it (not like I made it very far anyways) and the problem persists. I got lucky once, and made it to a save. It likes to either let me play for about 30 seconds then freeze, or freeze as soon as I start to play.

To determine whether a saved game is corrupted, follow these steps:

1.Go to the Settings hub and select System, then select Storage.

2.Select the storage location, and then press the A button.

3.Select Games, and then press the A button.

4.Select the game, and then press the A button.

5.Select the saved game, and then press the A button.

If the saved game file is corrupted, it will be marked as Corrupt Content and will have a yellow exclamation mark.

Hey there Necro, sorry you're still having trouble here. Just to make sure I'm on the same page, you have already deleted the game, cleared the cache, restarted the console, and then downloaded again, correct? It also sounds like your save file is looking good.

Are you the only profile on your console that has this issue, or does anyone trying to play this game have the same issue? Do you happen to know anyone else who has this game and is having the same issue? Let us know, thanks!

That would be correct, and I'm about to do it again. At the moment, I believe my account is the only account on my xbox that has access to XBLA games.

I don't know anyone else that has this game, but my friend downloaded the trial, and that worked fine. I also posted on Reddit, trying to seek help and no one had heard of this happening.
