WTF is going on.

For about two weeks now whenever I try to use xbox video it tells me. " sorry, the xbox music and video services aren't right now. Try again later." No status code no error message pop up, just that on the grey xbox video background. Can someone please tell me whats going on.

Hey there Profane,

That definitely is an odd issue.

A couple questions to help clarify:

  1. Are you able to use those apps with a different profile on your console?
  2. Are you connected to Xbox Live?
  3. Have you ever been able to access those services?
  4. You get that message with just the xbox video app
  5. Can you use other apps like Xbox Music or Youtube, etc?

Same thing is happening to me when I try to stream something from my phone to the Xbox I had no problems until today.

To answer a few questions above:

1. I can use all my apps with different profiles.

2. yes I am connected to Xbox Live

3.as I stated before I had no problem streaming until today

4. I get the message whenever I am trying to stream a video

5. YouTube video works and so do all my other apps

The apps were down for that time being and the store is still down it will not let you buy things. This may be due to the fact that the marketplace is switching to currency instead of points apps should be running by now only the store is down still.
