Would you want to further clarify 'Arcade'?

I was looking on XBox Live Free version at the MineCraft downloadable trailer.  I noticed it was on XBox Arcade.  I'm a free player.  So I went to XBox Arcade to see if it was downloadable.  Not under recent released.  Not under the first 2 minutes of games, trigger left.  Where is it?

I ran across a game that was an 'arcade game'.  The top color was white.

I ran across another game that was an 'arcade game', and it was orange.

I remember someone telling me to be very very very careful when purchasing things on XBox Live because if you upgrade to gold and downgrade to free version, then you lose access to the game (not confirmed).

Kingdom of Keflings and World of Keflings is Arcade, and I think you can play it offline, but idk.  So, now idk about Minecraft and any of the arcade games that I can't hardcopy buy.

Would you ever want to clarify the definitions of:

- Arcade white

- Arcade orange

- Arcade for XBox Live Gold Only

- Arcade games you can physically buy

- Arcade games you can only download and can play later

- Arcade games that you can download and can't play later

It helps more if you look at the description of the game to clarify if it's an actual arcade game or not. For example, Minecraft is shown as an arcade game (with the orange on top), but the actual game is not available for download yet. the only download for Minecraft at the moment is for a trailer.

The games are listed in the marketplace by what they are (arcade, xbox 360, etc.) but may have several different downloads related to that game. So it's best to read the description to find out of it's a demo, game, add-on content, etc.

Also, downgrading from gold will not cause you to lose access to your downloaded games.

- Arcade white = Old Arcade Game

- Arcade orange = New Arcade Game

- Arcade for XBox Live Gold Only = Does not exist. However, if you don't have Gold, you can't play the multiplayer modes of these games.

- Arcade games you can physically buy = there is no way to know if a hard copy of a game exists just by looking it it in the marketplace.

Games on Demand ALWAYS have a hard copy version, but few arcade games do.

- Arcade games you can only download and can play later/Arcade games that you can download and can't play later = Arcade games don't "expire", if that's what you mean. You can play them forever once you downloaded them.

Since they updated the dashboard they have mashed new release games in with video previews.  Stupid really.

Some games ARE online multiplayer only. It should be included in the description though. An example of this is Gotham City Impostors.

The second page of the overview will tell you offline and online things.
