Won't allow me to redeem code

I was recently hacked and i just got my account back. I recovered it and everything and according to my account, i still have a gold membership. But when i try to enter a game online, a screen pops up saying i must change my payment options. When i redeem my 1 month live code, and error message shows up and says information cannot be retrieved from Xbox Live. My account had been working the night before and just started doing this in the morning. Not even entering the code online works, the same message shows up.

Does it give you any kind of error code with the message?

You may want to try going to https://billing.microsoft.com and make sure all your information is correct.

It says my last 3 month card is suspended for some reason and it also expired last night. But if it expired, i should be able to just enter in a new code.

The only thing I can think of is that because of your account being compromised, it may be locked from making purchases. If that's the case, you'll need to call support and talk to billing to have them help you unlock it.
