Xbox games take up a lot of space, but next-gen game sizes are quite big overall. You can purchase a 1TB external drive if you wish, but you can always uninstall any games you don't use and then re-install or re-download them when you want to play them again.

@SKYL1N3 - This thread is quite old, if you need assistance be sure to create your own thread in the future.

Games take up space because of the amount of content that can be stored on the discs. If you copy everything from the disc to the hard drive, especially if it's a big game, then it will use a lot of storage space.

I really can't believe people are asking, "why do they take up so much space?"..... because the game is bigger.
