why are some of the games on demand about $10.00 more than a new copy anywhere else

why is it that games such as Oblivion, Fall Out New Vegas and other older games sell for $29.99 on Xbox live demand but only $19.99 brand new with a case and manual, at game retailers such as Walmart or Game-stop?

The prices on the marketplace are set by the developers so they're usually set at MSRP because that's what the developers want to sell them for. Retail stores don't necessarily have to follow MSRP.
