Where is Microsoft Windows Media Center?

Xbox One, can not play my recorded TV programs or my music from my PC (Windows Vista), or at least I have not found the way to do it. Also, to listen to music while I play, I have to split the screen, this is a frustrating, because MW Media Center, listening to my music and played the full screen at the same time. Is there any app that replaces M. W. Media Center?

So far as I can tell, there hasn't been anything that will allow streaming to the X1 yet.  Perhaps they'll have something developed for the future.  In the meantime you should post this to the Wishlist/Feedback forums so the team knows what people want.

I believe the Xbox One is DLNA compliant so if you can stream using that then it will be fine. You will need to start up the video app I believe in order to get that working.

It is however not a MCE extender so it will not connect to Media Centre on your PC like the 360 does.

I have heard from others that the 360 can be connected to the X1 using an HDMI cable.  I will be testing that later to see if you can stream using the 360 hooked to the 1.

MS clearly stated months ago that there would be no media center extender functionality.  Only option is to connect a 360 as an extender via the TV in a HDMI port.

Example: http://www.gameranx.com/updates/id/17161/article/xbox-one-not-a-native-media-center-extender/ Yeah sucks.

They did however state full dnla support, and right now they only support playto.   This would solve most everything in my opinion regarding streaming from pcs, i much prefer using dlna on the 360 instead of media center.  but with xbox one we can't do either :(

Xbox Video and Xbox Music watch the Collections for your Music and videos from your Media Windows PC. Or you can open Windows Media Player RT click a playlist or file and hit Play to then the device works. You want to play to the XboxOne Device
