What are Good Will Points?

So,xbox support has been jerking me around for a couple of weeks now. At one point
a support person mentioned "Good Will Points". They did not explain
them or give me anything. Just said I'd get them. Obviously Microsoft is not going
to give me anything and I am fine with that. I am just curious as to whether or
not "Good Will Points" actually exist or if support just says that to
get people to go away. As a side note, when I called support later that day
they said there was no record of my earlier phone call. Does support regularly
delete records or am I a special case?

"Good will points" usually means they are going to send you some Microsoft points since you've had issues. Unfortunately I have seen cases where support has promised points and never sent them.

As far as them not having a record of your earlier call, they should have given you some sort of confirmation number for that call that you could give them so they can look up the call. If they didn't give you a number then it is possible that they don't have a record for some reason.
