Walking Dead Season 3 Episode 10 Not available without paying again.

Are you kidding me?   Go in  'delete a cache and reboot'?   Unbelievable.  it is smart enough to recognize I already purchased it but not enough to play it or provide an error message as to what the restriction is.   Last time I purchase anything thru Xbox Live.  24 hours later after showing on AMC and still not available.   I would rather spend the money on iTunes or Amazon and have it work.   This is not advertised as a beta service, so don't ask customers to jump through hoops.

I have been on the phone for almost FIVE HOURS! And still no result. This is absolutely despicable. For goodness sake I could have illegally downloaded this episode an hour after it was aired. Forgive me for wanting to take the legitimate route!!!!

I chatted with Xbox Support yesterday about the Season Pass issue affecting Episode 10, and they informed me of the below:

Support: We have consulted your issue with our product team and they confirmed that they are still working on the release of episode 10 The Walking Dead, Season 3 Xbox Live for Season Pass holders. They confirmed that you should be able to access it within 24-72 hours. Although you can purchase the episode individually, you will still have to wait 24-72 for the release of this episode on Xbox Live.

Juxtapose13: Okay, so it's a system wide issue right now, and basically I should just keep checking to see when it's available.

Support: Yes because we have partnership with the producers of The Walking Dead and we are still waiting a go signal from their end to allow the release of this episode on Xbox Live.

Support: As much as we would like the content to be available to our users, the producers of this show is still not allowing us to release it on Xbox Live.

Support: But we assure you that you should be able to access the episode within 24-72 hours.

So, we'll all have to wait and keep checking over the next three days until it becomes available.

@Juxtapose13 - This is an outright LIE. After spending nearly five hours on the phone I finally convinced an agent to put enough points on my account to purchase the episode (even as a season pass holder). I ended up watching it last night after SO much hassle. So, I don't for a second believe this nonsense about it being unavailable because of the producers' lack of a "go signal". This is just a cop-out for not having an answer.

I would be a lot more sympathetic toward a technical error if there was honesty and accountability behind the agents' voice. It makes no sense to have had multiple answers (and no results) from each agent I spoke to. I even specified that this was a known error on the Xbox end (had checked the forums) and was still prompted go clear my cache, download my profile, etc etc etc multiple times. After 1 hour and 43 minutes with the last agent he finally helped us out. Matt was an angel and stuck it through to the very end. "Pat", however, unconvincingly stated she had a "power outage" and could not provide any further assistance......

I also just learned that AMC releases the episodes, in HD, a few days later on their web site.  For next season, I'll likely just do that and save me the money and hassle that the Xbox Video season pass provides.

I agree, season passes on Xbox Live are so broken. And I'm sure if I spent the 180 points or 250 points for the single episode, it would work. It's just their season pass system is broken. Get on top of it, this is not the only show to do it. I have season passes for How I Met Your Mother, Parks & Recreation, Family Guy, The Simpsons, Big Bang Theory, The Walking Dead and probably a few others. It has done it with Southpark as well. Where I have the season pass, and when a new episode shows up, it wants me to buy it again...

Completely broken system, I was hoping the kinks would be worked out by now. It's extremely frustrating to deal with, and I can't believe I'm paying for headaches.

Please. Fix. The. Season. Pass. System!

And some people say piracy is the problem....

Wow so this has been going on for a while? That's crazy... I just found out that I have to purchase an episode of "Attack On Titan", although I already purchased the entire season, and there's only 1 season!

As I mentioned in the other thread, refreshing your purchase history will likely solve the issue.  Open Xbox Video > Go to My Videos > Select Account Management > Press X
