Using DLC

So I have purchased dlc for different games on my xbox.  I was wondering if that my brother who has a different xbox and a different profile would be able to use the dlc without having to repurchase it since that would be essentially buying the game content twice.

Unfortunately, content is locked to the user that bought it, while you can make license transfers between systems(same accounts), and sometimes allow account A to access stuff on account B.   We are talking about 2 different systems, with 2 different accounts, 1 on each, so as a means of preventing pirating and sharing of software, it is locked to you and you alone.  Otherwise, everyone could just pop it on a USB and go over to their friends house and say here ya go, free stuff.

Its the same thing as if both of you own 2 of the same game, both of you need to own 2 of the same dlc. While disks are sharable, DLC content or digital games are not.

Hope this helps.

There is a way you could make it usable on his console, but it will require that you always be online when you want to use it.

If you do a license transfer on his console, then download the content, it'll be available for users on that console.
