USB Transference

I've seem to run into a problem with the XBox's data storage component. Whether or not I format the USB to have the files the XBox puts on it, the music file do not appear anywhere on the USB when I attempt to transfer the songs. Can anyone help?

If I'm reading this correctly, you can't transfer music from a USB drive to your consoles hard drive.  The only way to get music onto the hard drive is to rip it from a CD.

Hello Shpodel,

The information that airmattdog shared above is correct. You can find out more about more about how to get music to your console from our How to listen to music on your console support page.  There's also handy table with the kinds of content that can be stored on different kinds of Xbox storage devices on our USB flash drive support for Xbox 360 page.

Let us know if that information helps shed some light on the issue for you.  Thanks.
