Unlock Full Game. There is a problem...

Hi! I have a question.

On my XBOX 360 stores trial arcade games (Shadow Complex, Beyond Good & Evil HD and Outland).

When I tried to unlock the full version using the ms points, two out of three of these games are beginning to re-downloaded from the marketplace.
Why? I have no technical possibility to download them again.

Am I wasting my money on something that will not be able to play? Is there a solution to my problem?

Did you rencently get a new Xbox?

If so, you might need to transfer your licenses over to the new Xbox.

No, I just copy trials from my friend's console over the flash drive.

I'm not sure I totally understand your problem, but if you're unlocking the full version then it has to download the full version from the marketplace.

No. The trial version - it's the same thing as the full version, only with limited functions.

Both versions use the same data file.

After the purchase, the trial version should automatically become a full version without having to re-download.

I would like to hear a professional opinion.

Kane: that isn't always the case. It's really up to the developer how they make their game and demo, sometimes you need to download something when you purchase the full game.

Are you saying that your console is not connected to Xbox Live? Then you won't be able to purchase anything from Xbox Live. You can't convert Arcade trials copied from another console to a purchased version on a console that isn't connected to Xbox Live.

Data File for XBLA is always the same.

Guys, none of you could answer my question. Shame on you, people.

I deal with this myself. It turns out that in different regions of the LIVE service data files for the same XBLA is not the same. After buying the full version, it checks the availability of content on the console and if the data file does not match, starts downloading again.That was the problem. My friend uses australian LIVE. Games were purchased in marketplace of that region.

I use the russian LIVE, and so after purchase of content, it started downloading again.

Well, I had to download them again. Problem solved.
