unable to redeem Xbox music prepaid code

Hi,

 

I am trying to renew my xbox music subscription with a prepaid code that I have.

However I am getting this error message when trying to redeem the code.:

"An error has occurred during the transaction. Please try again later."

I have been trying for a few days now and it is not working.

My pass will expire in a couple of days so this is becoming quite urgent.

 

Can you please have a look into it.

The account is hephus78 with   [Moderated- no personally identifying information, please] as the Microsoft Account.

Hi,

is the chat only available during normal business hours? Every time I go to that page I am only listes with the forums, twitter and sometimes the ambassador option.

It isn't 24 hours, but it should be available fairly late. However, if it's not showing you the option at all, then in that case it may not be available for that particular issue. We can get you to chat, though. From the drop down, select Xbox Music and Xbox Video > Xbox Music > Issues playing music. This will show you the "Chat with Microsoft Support" option. Go ahead and choose that, and let us know if they can help! :)
