Unable to purchase microsoft points?

I've tried purchasing points to use on downloading more content and has the same message with each try.

Any help would be appreciated and below is a copy of an error report, i'm guessing?

Well, same error report but have tried purchasing points maybe 4 times at most today and decided to go ahead and contact support. I'll give it several hours and try again. Thanks

Have you tried making the purchase from your console? Sometimes that'll work when the website doesn't.

Also if you try from the console, the error message and error code from the console can be used to narrow down the issue. The one from the website doesn't give any information.

Tried again and same thing. What do you mean try from the console? I'm on a PC, i don't have an xbox if that's what you mean.

Ah okay. Usually there is an actual error message on the 360 itself that helps with issues like this.

Since it's still happening it sounds like it could be some kind of error in your account. I would suggest checking your account at https://billing.microsoft.com to make sure all of your account information is correct and up to date. If you can't find any errors there, you would need to call support to see if they can help you get it sorted out.

Ok, tried again few minutes ago from the home drop down console and gave a code. Last few times i tried, i did it from xbox.com site and that's where i got those error reports.

This is what it gave me from the home console.......80169d94.......Do you know what this code is?

That code usually means your account has been locked from making purchases. You would have to follow my advice from the previous post and go to the billing site to update all of your information. Then you will have to call support and speak to billing to work with them to unlock your account.
