Unable to claim free gold game and unable to purchase games

Hi There,

I recently purchased an annual gold membership with xbox live, I've tried downloading the free games but unfortunately it doesn't let me as there's a message that prompts 'your account region does not match' also, when I try to purchase there's a message that prompts 'there's an error with your account region'

Upon registering about a year ago on Xbox Live I could not really recall If I was required to choose the account's region, now I've migrated it to 'UAE' region which is where I am currently based but still the messages above still appears upon doing those transactions.

Account region: United Arab Emirates
Physical region: United Arab Emirates
Internet Service Provider (ISP): Etisalat
Content you are trying to download: Sleeping Dogs (Game with Gold) &  Bioshock 2 (Trying to purchase)
