I just bought a Xbox and the game Modern Warfare 2. I am not sure how to fully use everything but last time I checked it said I have Xbox Live Silver, but when I try to play online Xbox modern warfare 2 is just says "The current profile is not allowed
to play on Xbox Live" then brings me to the login page where it forced me to log into my account, then when I try to play online again it does the same exact thing, anyone know why?
In order to play multiplayer, etc over Xbox Live you'll need a Gold Membership. The reason you're seeing that message is because your account is currently a Silver Member, so you aren't able to join multiplayer matches and such. For more info on Xbox Live
and Xbox Live Gold, check out the
Xbox Live page.
