Hi, I'm trying to renew my xbox live because my old card is out of date, so ive added my new card then when I come to purchase the live it says that; "This payment option is used on as many accounts as it is allowed to be" but this is the only account I have used it on as it is a new card..? Any suggestions?

   This message usually means there is an issue with a payment and it's usually connected to an old card, so you would need to call support or set up a online chat with Official support.

Hi Ben Nixon,

So this issue is connected to you having an out of date card on your account, your error message is just a generic one. Call customer support and they will be able to remove the old one and add your new card and all will be fine. Should only take a few minutes over the phone once you get through.
