The game couldn't start. Try downloading the game again.

Hi there

I bought my son the xbox 360 minecraft game for christmas, he has been playing it ok up until yesterday.  The xbox tries to read the game and comes up with Game Error - The game couldn't start.  Try downloading the game again.  It wasn't a download its an actual disc, we have tried clearing the cache and deleting the game but we still get this error.


Any help please

See if there are any scratches on the disc if yes clean the disk with a dry cloth sometimes scratches may cause many problems
