The ending

after finishing the game I have sever thoughts.

I guess I am a little jaded with the whole death of joker thing. On one hand the idea of joker dead doesnt seem real. I truly believe the heath ledger statement in the dark knight "we be fighting each other forever".  Yeah sooner or later everybody dies but when they actually pull the trigger and they allow someone to die and do it in  a amazing meaningful I have to give rocksteady a hand on a masterful work.

when I saw the ending I figure at the end of the credits we might have seen/heard harley discover she was with child with joker's baby and maybe nine months later they show the baby pale with green hair and joker grin

with Talia and Raz ah Ghoul I didnt think they were dead figure they find a way for the servants to retrieve the bodies and drop them into the pit. even then I was surprised they tried to make Talia the love interest or any hint of love interest

when they do another batman and why not do another one I figure either do one using the Red Hood as the main bad guy(use joker in a flash back and use I think Dom dimaggio to do joker) or maybe do the whole battle for the cowl comic series and make it into a game watch the Drake/Robin, Nightwing.Grayson and Red hood/Jason Todd/his version of the bat suit and the boss ending game

Batman: Under the Red Hood is awesome.

I'm sure there will be a third game, and I think the main villain will be Hush. It's hinted at in the side mission, what with him becoming a serious threat now. I'm sure Scarecrow will return as well, along with Black Mask.

Well, in the game, the thugs mention something called ''Arkham Island''. That MIGHT be where the possible next game will take place.

I think the next game might have something to do with what Azrael told Batman.  Maybe we will get to play as Azrael in the Batman suit?  Idk.  But it's hard to imagine a Batman game without the Joker.

I think the reason why joker died is simply because Mark Hamill doesn't want to act Joker anymore, so Rocksteady decided to let him die.

I full expect this to be a trilogy, because even with the amazing ending this had there are too many hints at a sequel not to expect one.  They took Joker out with a joke on himself and smile on his face very fitting, well done Rocksteady.  I am not familiar with the Red Hood store arc but I am sure it was a good one.  The Jokers just adds so much to Batman that I am sad he is gone. I have full faith in Rocksteady to produce a even better third installment of this game with a great story and most likely incorporate all the characters (Robin, Catwoman and Nightwing) into the main story. They said they had attempted to make an Arkham City multiplayer mode, but it took away from the single player experience so they shelved it.  If they do the next game I bet Co-op missions will be there.  Host will always be Batman but the other player could be one of the other 3 (Like Gears of War 3 host is Marcus the other players are rotated). This could be really fun game dynamic, create challenges that can only be done co-op or greatly increase the difficulty when playing co-op.  Imagine the possibilities of jumping into a group of 30 bad guys with a buddy and what that combat could be like, the type of moves your could do together.  The possibilities are there, I sure Rocksteady could pull it off.

i think it would be pretty sweet if they did like a gritty mob type story line that only batman can pull off for the next one in Gotham. since joker is dead all the other "serious" criminals are still around (two face, black mask etc) they will all be trying to get to the top. idk i think it will be a pretty cool way to AT LEAST start a game out, until crazier *** starts to go down. also on another note i would like to see more of two face in the next game since he was only shown for a short part of  Arkham City and only spoke a few words

^^This.I'm also loving Batman:Year one as well.

It was a great ending and I am sure they will be making a third one. Maybe one actually in ALL of Gotham?? I have to say though I was disappointed in the length of the story. When I first started the game I got a little side tracked but then I started to do the main story line. In no time it was over, even on hard.
