Tap Tiles

I downloaded this app.  For some reason, download was ok, yet I received the message "installation pending" (progress 0%.)

Any ideas/solutions would be appreciated

UnsoundRobin74, What we want to do is completely re-install the Games app, and then try to install TapTilesonce more. To do this, please follow the steps below.

  1. Right click on the app’s tile
  2. Select “Uninstall” and confirm
  3. From the Metro UI, type “WSReset.exe” and press enter
  4. After you see a confirmation the store cache has been reset, reinstall the app

What this does, is uninstall the app, as well as clear the Store cache, so that when you go to download it again, it pulls a fresh version of the app.

You can also try these methods to check if the you are able to resolve the issue.

  • Method 1: Run the app troubleshooter. download.microsoft.com/.../apps.diagcab 
    Open that link to run the troubleshooter
  • Method 2: Disable Proxy Connections and check
    If you are using a proxy connection, then try disabling proxy and then try to purchase.
  • Open Internet Explorer
  • Click the Tools button, and then click Internet Options
  • Click the Connections tab, and then click LAN settings
  • Uncheck the Use Proxy server
  • Click Apply and Ok to save changes.
  • Method 3: Check date and time
  • On the start screen type "Date and Time" and open it from the settings option.
  • Correct the date and time if it is wrong as well as the Time Zone.
  • Method 4: Check Region settings
  • Type "Region" on the Start screen and click "Settings" and hit enter.
  • Under the "Location" tab make sure the region selected is where you are.
  • Method 5: Reset store cache
  • Right Click the Start screen (bottom left hand corner)
  • Click "Run"
  • Type: "WSReset.exe" and hit enter
  • Method 6:Check if the issue exists in clean boot Follow the steps here to troubleshoot the issue. support.microsoft.com/.../929135
    Note: Once troubleshooting is done please follow "Step 3 :Reset the computer to start as usual" on the article to boot the computer in normal mode.

Taptiles installed fine, went to open it and it stays on the title screen fack
