I got Halo 4 back in November and had no problems playing on it. But then the problem began for no apparent reason in March:
When playing in a matchmade game, the spartans (player models) would look blurry with no detail on them and the announcer wouldn't say anything, such as 'Game Over', the sound did work for firing guns though. I would still be able to play the game, but as soon as the match finished and before it took me back to the matchmaking screen, the game would stop and the error message would come up telling me that my disc is unreadable, to clean it, restart the console and try again. I would do these things and when trying to play the game again, sometimes it would be fine and I could play 3 or 4 games without the problem happening and other times it would happen on the first game.
Thinking that it was a problem with the disc, I went out and brought a new one but I still have the same problem.
I've played other games since getting the error message, such as Halo Reach and there are no problems with these games.
Have also cleared the system cache, this made no difference.
Since the day I had the game I've installed it onto the harddrive, isn't that supposed to stop disc reading errors?
