Storage Error

I’ve gotten this message before but once in a great while, but now
its all the time: Error A required storage device has been removed. Your
console will now restart. I go to load up Battlefield 2 and after the splash screen
and the load up I get the message. I thought it was the game but the same thing
happens with Toy Soldiers and when i go to play videos. I sit about 10 feet
away from the xbox and it sits behind my tv. I’m not poking at it, I’ve never
pulled the hard drive out while it’s on, ive never taken the hard drive out
once its been put in. Is this thing broken? is there a way to fix this without
spending money

Have you tried to take the hard drive out and put it back in, it's possible that it's a loose connection and just requires the XBOX 360 hard drive to be re-plugged in. Instructions on how to do just that > support.xbox.com/.../add-remove-hard-drive. Let us know if that stops this error from occurring.
