Statuscode 80150017 Games with Gold

Dear support,

 I have a problem (again) with getting games for gold purchases.

I receive the status code 80150017 saying not available in your region or the file is damaged or we do not recognise the file index. This errorcode status on the website explains a total different issue. 

I have had contact with helpdesk through chat about Halo 3 and have said they would escalate the problem and I could expect a response within 3 weeks. Over 4 weeks have passed and now I have the same problem with Gears of War.

I have done every suggested method of getting the purchase done, but nothing works. Region is accurate. Payment method is valid. Clearing cache or using usb stick do not work in any way. With or without reset of the console.

Please look into this asap, because I feel I'm missing out on games that should be available to me and the support has been insufficient.

Purchase does not complete. Download never starts. Errorcode message displays faulty situation and website does not imply same issue. Other purchases/downloads have no issues.

the same problem has occurs with me but there is nothing to do about it. it is a account error some accounts face these errors. if you still want the game the only way is to make another account with gold and purchase it.

two questions

first have you recently migrated your account from lets say uk etc to get english content and then changed back?

you will have to wait till the migration completes it sometimes takes 30days contact support to see if they can rush it

2nd have you contacted  your ISP?

you can check your gateway by going to speedtest.net

sometimes hardreseting your modem and router helps too but sometimes manually entering new gateway settings will resolve the issue with different geoIPs

Hey. Thanks for responding. But I really need response from support.

Too answer your qeustions... yes I have migrated account region from Dutch to Norwegian, since I emigrated, but never touched it again. I have also tried manualy setting ip and gateway, even on different router/modem and even with the neighbours ip. No succes. I have no problems with other content.

I have the same problem in the same games, in "Iron Brigade" and " A World of Keflings" i havent problems.

I'm from Portugal.

Error msg:

In the console "Sorry, something went wrong. This isn't avaiable for your region, or the file is corrupted, or we don't recognize the format.

Find more info by looking up status code 80150017 at www.xbox.com/errorhelp."

In the site "Sorry Your purchase cannot be completed at this time. Please try again."

Same problem here, I want this game in the hard disk even if I already purchase them in solid format, but I cant do it and this is something like losing part of the offered service of gold accounts :(

too bad to see more ppl with the same problem, good you post here, now we need support to answer, prefferably before this offer ends also! Shape up please! No Response since the escaltion of the Halo 3 issue and now again since this post with the issue of GoW.

Yes, its a free game, ppl say, but we are entitled to it, so fix it ASAP!
