Status Code: 80190864

I recently cut off my old payment option for Xbox Live, and now upon trying to renew my gold membership with a different payment option, I receive the following error message:

Can't retrieve information from Xbox LIVE.

Please try again later.

Status Code: 80190864

I googled the problem and was brought to this forum upon which I found a thread which seemed like it would help. Someone suggested deleting the cache of my hard drive, and that seemed to resolve the issue for the person who started the thread.

It did not solve the issue for me.

That code usually means you have some sort of billing violation. Go to https://billing.microsoft.com and make sure all of your information is correct, up to date, and you don't have any balances you owe. If you can't fix it there, you'll need to call support.
