Status Code - 80153410

For a couple days, I've been trying to download the MW3 Collection 2 map pack. I keep getting an error message saying "Can't retrieve information from Xbox LIVE. Please try again later." I've already cleared my hard drive cache and made sure my account settings were up to date and accurate. What should I do?

That code suggests there's an issue with your credit card.  Check the steps at the link to solve it.

I already have the points needed to purchase the map pack on my account, I don't know what my credit card would have to do with it...but thanks for answering.

When attempting to purchase the item make sure it's looking to take the points and not charge your credit card for the purchase.

I do apologize for the issue that you are having.

Unfortuatnely, I do recognize this error code and have done some research on it.

This code indicates that you WILL need to contact Customer Support from whichever region you are located in.

They'll be able to sort this error code/issue out for you with no problem. This issue indicates it's a couple issues. Customer Support will be able to explain to you about this error code with no problem.

I have had a couple people with this SAME EXACT error message, you will need to contact them. And they'll be able to get this sorted out for you with no problem.

I've had this problem before and once again it's come back, i think it might have something to do with sercurity, over use of a card (classed as suspicious behaviour) leading to blacklisted billing address or something along those lines im only sayin this because it's happened to me on two accounts at the same time this time i only had one account the first time it happened. I contacted xbox and they sorted it out with another problem i had fairly quickly, it must have been a year or two back when it happened so im not sure why i can keeps happening but what i don't get is how i was able to buy a game on demand when this error had already stopped me buying anything for days maybe even weeks i could also download free stuff so im stuck just like you if you find out how to solve this problem please post any info :)

I've got the same problem and just forwarded this article to the support person as she seems clueless!?!

I also have an ongoing issue where I cant access any of my account details and can only add points to my account via Zune on the Laptop which Microsoft called to tell me "We don't know how to fix it, just hang in there".

it's now been over 4 months and I'm still waiting...

Not good XBOX, not good at all.

i can't download a camo pack for black ops 2 but when i hit download an error message comes up but i have enough points. i dont have a credit card on my account i used a prepaid card.
