status code: 80153410

I am recieving the code 80153410 anytime I try to purchase some dlc in the Marketplace.

 

I tried the chat support yesterday and they were not able to help. Other than the marketplace my live account works like it should.

 

This all started when I put in a preorder code that I didn't realize was a code that had to be put in, in-game. That was on Tuesday.

there is currently a service alert, which is probably why you cannot purchase from the marketplace. If you are still receiving this error when the service alert has been resolved, please post back.

I saw that they say the issue has been resolved, however every purchase I try to make still comes back with error code 80153410.  I will not have been able to purchase anything for a week tomorrow at noon.  I have escalated my case to top tier of account issues twice.  Still unresolved I am very frustrated and pretty much over owning my XBox.  I am trying to purchase with points so this is not really a credit card issue.  Also XBox had no problem taking my money to add points I just can't spend that money now.  I am just so angered by this situation.  A week without a resolution that is really poor.

I just got home from work. I tried to download the DLC that I orginally wanted I again got the error code 80153410. I cleared my systems cache and tried again after logging out and then back in. I got the same error again.

I got that same error when I tried to buy Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's Decade Duels Plus earlier after putting 800msp onto my account. Support told me to wait for 72 hours. :/

I have not been able to purchase DLC since last Friday and they did not fix it as stated in the service alert.  I have talked to Xbox service twice and both times it has been escalated to a higher tier.  I have tried all options over the phone and non worked.

I have the very same issue, just cleared Cache and everything, still cant purchase content with the same status code.

Clearing the Cache did not do anything this has now gone on for a week no answers to my demands for a status update. I am just sick over this.  XBox live owes everyone something that has been dealing with this!  This has now affected my Birthday (couldn't get the DLC I asked for), and Valentines day ( we really wanted to rent skyfall but of course couldn't). FIX THIS I have opened up two cases had them escalated to the top tier and both 72 hour periods have passed with no resolution.  Fix this and stop lying when you say the marketplace is up and running I feel everyone in this forum would disagree with any statement that says the marketplace is working. FIX IT TODAY one week is ridiculous what exactly are we paying for with our memberships?
