Sold FIFA 16 Download code. Buyer refusing to pay.

I decided to sell the bundled FIFA 16 game (Download) that came with my Xbox One that I got for Christmas. I put it on eBay at a reasonable £18 and was not surprised when it sold quite quickly. The buyer requested that I send the code by eMail rather than post the card. I told him I was willing to do this once he had paid me and the money was confirmed in PayPal. This duly happened and using the money I bought Rory McIlroy's PGA Tour.

Today I found that there is a dispute with the payment in PayPal, the buyer is stating that he did not authorise payment and PayPal are withholding the money. It was no surprise to me that when I tried to use the code it is no longer valid as it has already been used.

Is there any way to check when the code was first used so that I can use it in evidence both to eBay and PayPal?

No and it's. A privacy issue to do so

You will have to work with eBay games

From personal experience eBay will side with the buyer regardless of anyone say even with evidence
