Shivering Isles Dlc

Can anybody tell me how, or why, this dlc is still so much to download?

I mean ,its a fair few microsoft points, and i thought that since the game has been out a while ,the Dlc might have dropped in price a lil.

It's twenty dollars right? That is pretty fair for the amount of content that you get.

I believe it's 2400msp, which would be US$30?  (Given that 800msp costs $10?)

But yeah I'd say it's actually worth it at that price, it's an exceptional example of how DLC/expansions should be done IMO.

Alternatively you could just shop around for the standalone disc (and install the content, along with KOTN, and sell it off) or potentially pick up the GOTY version of the game if you can find it cheaply

Find a GoTY edition.  Comes with the DLC, and is amazingly cheap nowadays

I was wondering about that myself. The 5th anniversary edition just came out for $30.00, it comes with Knights of the nine and the isles. It's cheaper to get that rather than just paying for the MS points.

weird, im sure its only 1200ms points. but im in britian so there may be a price difference.

Have a look for the disc on amazon, it may be cheaper there.

DLC is still 2400msp in the USA which is crazy since the new aniversary edition just came out for $30

Yeah I'm in New Zealand and the price is still 2400msp

The Game of the Year used game has that DLC with it. It is worth the price if you really like the game. It can add another 20 hours to your game play.

You can buy Shivering isles on disc quite cheap.

You just install the disc to the hard drive.

Step 1:  Buy Oblivion GOTY Edition used at Gamestop

Step 2: Drive home

Step 3: Grab snack

Step 4: Install second disk to HDD

Step 5: Drive back to Gamestop

Step 6: Tell Gamestop employee that you didn't like the game

Step 7: Drive back home

Step 8:  Play game

I know it's kind of a technical plan, but if you get it right then the benefits pay off big time.
