Same issue

I have Verizon FiOS and am running through the Xbox. It freezes every 10-15 seconds, even after converting to 720 on the set top box. Is there a fix for this issue?

See if you have surround sound enabled on the cable set top box. If so, switch it to stereo/PCM sound and see if that resolves. The xbox one currently does not support digital surround via HDMI pass through. You may need to hook the set top box directly to the tv in order to do this if you can't maneuver the options while passing through the xbox one.

Actually, I have the problem (not with the same cable box) and there's an easier solution. You need to Power Cycle your console, which is not simply the same as restarting your console. To power cycle, hold the Xbox Console touch button for 8 seconds until the console powers off, then wait 30 seconds, then power your console back on and check to see if you still have the problem. A power cycle will clear the cache and reset the network card which typically resolves a lot of issues. Let us know if this works for you.
