Rock Band 4 won't load, crashes on splash screen
As a preface to this issue, I do not have an Internet connection for my Xbox One. I recently purchased the physical disc of Rock Band 4. I installed the game with no issue. When I went to play, the splash screen would show up, then the message came up
(as it does for all games when you don't have an Internet connection) that it could not sync save files. So, as normal, I pick the option "Use Offline", which works fine for all other games. The screen then goes black, and then jumps back to the Dashboard.
No matter how many times I try, it keeps doing this. I tried un-installing/re-installing, did not work. I did a hard reset of the console, did not work. I haven't been able to play the game once. I've also had this issue a couple times with Rory McIlroy PGA
Tour (which was downloaded) but after a few times of loading the game, it eventually works. No such luck with Rock Band. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
That is strange, it should definatley let you. My only thought is that perhaps there is an update that fixes this bug, and because you are offline, it can't download the update? That is all i could think it would be, as you've done everythign else I can
think that would fix the issue :( I've done some searching too, and can't find anyone else with this issue, although it is a reasonably new game, so could just be that no one has come across it yet
Edit: I have noticed people who are in the preview program are having trouble with the game though, so if you are in the preview program, then that is what is causing it.
Edit 2: Here is the Rockband support page, in case you want to throw the question at them too see if it is something they may be able to assist with:
