refund for online bought game

hi xbox,

i got a serious problem, i bought halo reach on xbox live and the story in game is in french.

there is no way to change the langauge in the menus,

it spoils my adventure in game cause they talk in french, i dont understand anything what the npcs are saying.

i espescialy bought it for the story and now i cant understand anyhting what  theyre saying ingame.

i demand a refund, cause the story is not spoken in english, i do not live in france nor do i understand the frecnh langauge.

i bought it a few hours ago and when i started playig i was shocked that everythiong was in french.

plz fix this, i want a refund so i can go atleast buy the game i the shop.

also there was no warning saying the game was in french wich either..

so i want my money back, next time atleast put in the note that the game is french so i can avoid foreign langauge games.

this has spoild my halo expiernce.

if i dont get a refund then im sure this wil be the last bought game on xbox live for me.

Dude I am having the same trouble I wanted to purchase nba 2k12 but there was a status code so I tried a different game but I was going to exit out of the screen when I saw that it was taking longer than the 2k download and now it purchased on to my dads credit card and I'm going to get into soo muck trouble

Noone can help you on forums concerning billing concerns you must call Xbox support

There is no refunds all games have an accurate description before you buy

You are only presented with the version of a game according to your account region settings. So if your region settings were entered incorrectly during the account creation process then that would fall to user error. The only way to correct that would be to create a new account with the correct information selected.

I am aware of this but i have bought a bundle with download codes for a couple of games. I set up my account, i live in belgium, we have 2 language regions, one dutch, one french. So i download the games, they're in french, i think they should fix this and make it possible to choose between english and french, not only french.

You cannot return a digital download they do have a fix you read the description

Dlc languages are set they cannot be changed

You have to download the correct one listed in their description

Each one is localized every country has set languages they support you look at the marketplace and read the description French is FR English is EN Also the description is in the language they are set for

I know but the description says the games on demand version only supports french, so i hope they fix this

Then at this time that is the only available version. The Game Developer controls what versions are available in your region, as well as your regional, international, local, licensing and copyright laws. You should contact them as there is nothing MS can do for you about it.
