Redeemed a code, installation failed, content was not attributed to my account, can no longer use code

installation was half way through, so the code worked the first time, however, now it no longer works.

is this the best support we have? a community forum and twitter?

for anyone else who is knew to xbox and messes up like me, go to your game in games & apps, configuration and check for the pass there, should be able to install it from there. derp derp.
