It all depends how much cash you have lying around, and how high a quality you want.

If you dont wanna spend too much there is the Roxio Game Capture, but it wont record in full HD, you can edit it a bit after to make it look better though.

Or if you wanna spend a bit more the Hauupauge HD PVR, the gaming edition comes with all the cables needed, if you buy the standard version you'll need the xbox HD Component cables. That will record in 1080i and the quality is, well, as you'd expect for HD.

I personally have the Hauppauge, so if you got any questions just hit me up! =]

There's this thing called 'Roxio Game Capture'  It's easier to set up since you don't need any splitters, and it's cheapish and obviously not as good quality as something over twice the price but it's decent.  You can probably find some footage on YouTube.

I've heard the Dazzle device is a popular choice, and it's quite cheap IIRC.  I'm not sure whether it can record in HD, though

I use this capture card

.

With great success. Works well with very little lag.

Get an Hauupauge HD PVR, Sony Vegas Pro 11 for editing and Adobe After Effects for the special effects.

I use a Hauppauge HD PVR. The quality is awesome...
