Really is my Final fantasy.

I've played these titles since the Snes days but this will the last one I buy.

Square's only focus seems to be how to simplify this once great series into a casual nubfest in the hope that 1 more granny will buy it. It appears they have forgotton about the people who enjoyed and supported FF through the years.

This game itself is a marked improvement over the last limp effort but is still only marginally better than average which for a series like FF is a very poor showing.

The final straw for me is this filthy clambering for money from micro transactions. Never thought I'd see the day where these once epic games were reducded to pan handling for scraps like a dirty dog looking for a bone.

No card game ? Future DLC?? WTF

Buy Weapons for MP

? WTF

Buy Lighting etc etc?WTF

Really your overwhelming greed is revolting. So between your sins of greed and only making a game that is *just* ok you can be assured I will no longer buy any of your future FF'S unless it's in a bargain bin for £1.99 and even then I would think twice.

Hope all the the *new* players your trying to attract keep buying your games. This gamer who has bought your last 7 or 8 FF's wont be back.

Good luck .

Cya less complainers are always good. Besides Square Enix won't even hear this anyway.

You just love to complain don't ya?  Whether its cod, bf and now ff. Stop being such a woman. Even my gf doesn't complain as much as you and that's saying something. With that said, this game is a lot of fun so whatever you say doesn't make a difterence.

^while he is a known complainer and general cry baby/troll, some of what he said i can agree with, a card game as dlc, is a bit of a stretch tbh, when you first get to the casino area you can even choose the card game tutorial, followed by "oh were sorry its coming later as dlc", like really? something as small as a card game for dlc? im not even expecting it to be an actual card game from ff8/9, its most likely going to be like the slots, like 1 type of game based on luck or something, based on how empty the casino is im not expecting much.

i definatly wouldn't mind paying a little if they added in a card game similar to ff8/9, as it would be pretty fun.

when it comes to paying 80ms points for a weapon, im fine with that, there are plenty of weapons, and not to mention better weapons/equivalents in-game, anyone who buys anything off xbl will usually have 80+ points left over.

but an outfit for 240 points? really? a weapon actually has a use, i would of expected the weapon to be 240 points and the outfit for 80.

and the fact that we have an outfit option in the menu yet only have 1 outfit in the game, is a bit pathetic. i see no real point to getting lightning/amodar because by the time you can actually beat them the games most likely already finished. and again, there are equal if not better monsters in the game itself.

explain something to me, how did ff7 have a more fleshed out casino area than 13-2? 13-2 has 2 things to do, ff7 had like 15+ mini-games to play, as well a battle arena, looking back to then we got a complete game that didn't even need extras, but tiny things like outfits/monsters/weapons that are clearly already on the disc, is also a bit pathetic.

but at the same time i can simply not buy anything i dont want to or feel is worth it.

even after saying all of that, i definatly still enjoyed the game, i even enjoyed ff13, i liked the story, the graphics were beautiful, especially in the cut scenes (which we sadly get less of on 13-2 due to compression, i think i saw one cgi at the start and one at the end, everything else looked like in-game cut scenes.

i still feel its a pretty complete game as far as content goes, but giving an empty battle arena, an unfinished casino area, is a little annoying.

that's my only real gripe with the game. and the fact that im going to have to leave the console on over night if i want a chance at 100%ing it....lol.

FFXIII has been one of the most epic storylines with FFVII in my opinion.

What zero said

The last 2 FF games have been poor compared to the older games.

DLC is becoming a curse of modern gaming. Developers leaving stuff out that was always in their game before just to try and get that last penny from us is poor form.

To me this this FF has been badly marred with their Scrooge tactics.

If thats the way they want to play it though I will stop buying games on day of release for full price and get them 1 month later at half price.

They're doing DLC for extra parts which remained hidden and extra power. Square Enix have been charging add-ons in 2010 for FFXI. It's actually nothing special for them to do it on FFXIII-2. Who damn cares if they're charging it's pretty damn cheap. Mortal Kombat DLC price is over the top.

That's nice. If it makes you feel better, Square doesn't even read these forums and one purchase isn't going to matter too much. People whined because there was no DLC for 13 and now people are whining because they're actually making DLC for 13-2. People need to make up their minds.

As above, people moaned when they didn't bother to release any DLC and now that they do people moan. I don't agree with the charged DLC for the card game. Every publisher is greedy, all I need to do is look at your recently played list Tam and all of the games have greed filled DLC.

Battlefield 3: Pay for camos/dogtags.

Both Call of Duty games: Extortionate map pack prices and games that apparently warrant a higher RRP than every other game released here in the UK, not to mention they actually had game modes included as premium content drops for MW3(think they removed them now).

Saints Row 3: Pay for cheat codes.
