Rat Attack Glitch

My son, my wife, and I all three have characters and play Oblivion 5th Anniversary.  My wife has run into a problem that the other of us 2 have not had.  When she gets attacked by a rat, she just gets pushed into a corner and can never move, attack, cast, or do ANYTHING at all other than just stand there and die.  This wasn't an issue until she went into the Elven Gardens Sewers.  She is the only one that does not have a XBox Live account (if this could be an issue).

Is there anything that we can do?

Thank you,

Richard

Are you all using the same console?  If so, downloading a patch/update for your Oblivion game with your XBL account should patch/update the game for all users on the console, so it shouldn't be an issue.   If not, try accessing her game save on the Xbox Live console with the patched Oblivion and see if that makes a difference.

If that fails, you could double check to make there are no faults with the controller, or simply start playing from an earlier save (before you entered the Elven Garden Sewers)

Does she have a past game save? Like one just before she went into the sewers?

I'm having the same issue but from the very beggining of the game and can't get throught the sewers, have never had such an issue out of this game on computer

^ Downloading a patch should work and if that doesn't work as he said start from an earlier save. One of those should work.

Patchfest Yall!
