Question about copying games

I might be in the wrong thread but, I was wondering is it possible to copy a saved game onto a memory card or stick? I was playing a game called Castlevania Lords of Shadow 2 and after many days and hours of playing, the game corrupted while saving and deleted my entire game. I just want to know if it is possible to copy a saved game to a card and then be able to transfer the saved game back to the hard drive if it corrupts again. I have an Xbox 360 Slim.

Yes, you can format USB external storage (up to 32GB) for use with an Xbox 360, and can store save games (as well as actual games) on there. After every session you could simply copy across a save file (this has to be manual, it will not do this automatically) and if the one on the HDD corrupts you have your backup.

Cloud storage is an alternative, but is only available to Gold members.
