Purchasing microsoft points on xbox live marketplace.

Why when i try to purchase microsoft points does it come up with a message sayin that the credit card cannot be authorized, contact your credit provider or add a new card. I have tried 4 different credit/debit cards all of which contain enough money and the same notice appears. How can i resolve this problem?

Perhaps there is something off with your account. You can check yourself at https://billing.microsoft.com or call up phone support in your region.

I'm having the same problem.  I tried all the suggestions in the post.  I purchased points with the exact same credit card a few days ago.  I called my CC company, and they say there's no reason for charges to be declined.

I'm also having the same problem I've looked at the billing page and all my options show as good. I called one of my Credit Card companies to try and find out if it was from their end and everything was fine there, even tried a purchase with them on the phone and they didn't see a charge come up. I'm stumped here, only managed one purchase for 2000 points and that's not enough for the game I want to get.

You tried purchasing with who on the phone and who didn't see a charge? Can you tell me exactly what you are trying to do and what you are seeing when you try?
