Purchasing microsoft live points

i can't purchase them on my xbox or the webbsite, it says the card isnt valid.. but i have a valid credit card and the gold membership is being charged every month.. so what wrong?

I'm having the same problem. I've called three times, XBox live support says there is no solution. Period. Nothing can be done, there is no one they can elevate the issue to. Nothing. I just am not allowed to be a customer at their business any more, due to a glitch in their system. It appears I'm not the only one.

Are you sure you are not suspended from purchasing anything from that credit card hence you may have an over-due payment?

It's just so weird it still charges the gold membership..

buying live points from stores cost the double almost.. that means.. no more DLC's or any arcades or anything..

and my credit card is fine, no suspensions.

So what is the error message you are getting when you try to buy points? Are you getting an error code?

This credit card is invalid, try adding another or use another payment method.

This is not an exact translation but close.. and there is nothing wrong with my card.. i use it like every week buying from internet..

I am having the same problem.  I have tried adding 3 different cards. None of them will work. Get the same message. They are all good cards and get billed for gold membership..

Try calling up phone support to see if there is a billing violation or anything on your account that would be preventing your from purchasing.
