purchasing dark souls

its a one day only sale and its not allowing me to purchase this game, they shouldnt put one day sale son if you cant purchase the games this is a discrase

What is the exact error code? Or at least the scenario where it is not working?

Is it possible your account region and physical location do not match up? This will prevent the purchase and downloading of some region-locked Games on Demand titles.

on the console it says that my credit card cannot be authorized but on the website it told me that it cannot be purchased at this time when its one day only!

I'm also having a similar issue, trying to buy blood dragon and the web store is telling me "Your purchase cannot be completed at this time. Please try again" and on Xbox its telling me that it cant authorise the payment and to select a different payment option. i've checked everything and it all up to date, difference being is that I'm trying to pay using pay pal

I have had the same issue.. I have tried using two different PayPal accounts and a credit card, but nothing seems to work. When I try to make the purchase (Dark Souls), it tells me:

"Sorry, we couldn't get authorization for this. Use a different or new way to pay, or check that your billing address is correct. If you have more questions, your financial institution is the one to ask."

However, I have called my bank, and they have told me there is nothing wrong with my card. The problem is with the Microsoft servers, which is a shame considering the sale is only for today. I have tried to buy the game on both the Xbox and the website, but to no avail. All of my billing information matches perfectly, so I cannot understand what the problem is.

If anyone would be willing to help, I'd be very grateful!

Edit: I tried again, and received the error code 80167611
