Problems after an update.

I have been playing COD Ghosts since the launch night of xbox one. I have had no problems until i was asked to update after I downloaded the first piece of DLC. Now every time I start the game it goes to a black screen as if it is loading the main menu but it never loads anything. I suspect that the download was corrupted upon download. I would just delete the game from the hard drive, re-download and go from there but as the one does not have the basic feature of being able to inspect your hard drive, this is impossible. Any help would be appreciated. Hey Microsoft, you really should fix this as I have been a loyal customer for the last 8 years through the good and the bad. Please make this right.
