Problem purchasing.

I've been attempting to purchase the two month Gold membership being offered by the Special E3 Savings promotion. However, every time I try to purchase it I'm given an error message with the status code 80190848. Can you tell me what the problem is? Also my region and the region I connect to is the United States.

It's some sort of billing issue. Go to billing.microsoft.com and make sure all of your information is correct and up to date. If you can't fix it there, call support and talk to billing and they will help you sort it out.

I have the same problem. My XBL account used to be Irish, but I have migrated to the Greek XBL since. I found out that on billing.microsoft.com, it still has Ireland as my region and I obviously cannot change it. I know that the credit card must be from the same country as the XBL to be authorized.
