Problème de rétrocompatibilité

Bonjour,

Merci

[Hello,

Everything is in the title! I can not play my games on my xbox the first 360. The games are Da Vinci Code and Star Wars Episode III Revenge of the Sith, which are compatible, I checked 100 times.

I have a slim Xbox 360 with 4 GB of memory, and I bought a separate 250 GB hard drive, Microsoft official, who works 100% since I installed all my games over 360. In addition, I am connected to xbox live (by wifi). So I guess the compatibility update was made.

When I insert the game into my Xbox 360, the following message appears: Can not play this game, re-download the game I called Microsoft customer service, they advised me to make manip (download the update day on the net, put it on a USB stick, install the console from this key., empty the cache on the hard drive ...) without success. Yesterday I tried my games on the console of a friend who has the first model in the 360, white with a 60 gb hard drive and then it works! I do not understand!

I hope someone can help me. Thank you]

Where did you purchase your HDD from? Just because games work when installed to the drive does not mean it's necessarily an official drive.

I purchased my HDD on the internet, on priceminister web site. The seller told me the HDD was an official Microsoft. And it is ! I checked it on my console's menu : memory => HDD => on the right there is written Microsoft.

Sorry for my poor english, I hope it was clear.

Just to be sure, does a friend have an HDD that you could borrow to try out on your console?

Unfortunately, no. A friend of mine has an xbox 360, but it is not the same as I have, it is the first model.

Okay, because those games worked with your profile on a different console, I'm inclined to believe the issue is with your HDD specifically (as other games work without issue on the console, correct?). You might want to try picking up a new HDD from a retailer that will honor a return if it turns out to not be the issue after all.
