Pricing of games in EU zones compared to US and UK

I have a general question for the masses ....

Having lived in Prague, Czech Republic for the past 12 years I was, of delighted to hear that Microsoft had set up a Czech account for users of the Xbox 360. I jumped at the chance of getting signed up and moved my account over to the Czech one. FAIL! I know HAVE TO pay almost 50% more for nay games I wish to own! When comparing prices in the UK and the US the mark-up for the Czech market is just plain nuts!

I received a curt, 'we have no information on pricing' from the Xbox 360 support people on twitter ... and I'm still waiting for a response to my email of last month to the Xbox people in CZ...

Any ideas, please, as to where or even who I should direct my concern to?

Thanks :)

You need to blame your government for the difference in pricing as the economy and the value of your monetary system also play a part in the differences paid in each region. Apparently the dollar and pound have more value than a koruna.
