Playing MW2 or any War/Shooting game results in controller disconnecting

I, as I am sure others are, am getting very fed up with this.

My original controller started disconnecting when shooting a few months ago. I bought two new ones. One of these is now doing the same thing.

I have tried the sticky tape fix and the piece of card board fix and the new battery fix and the only thing that works is turning of vibration. Not happy.

When can we get controllers that work properly and can I exchange my non working vibrating controllers for others that will work?

Thanks for the info! This doesn't happen with every controller though, correct? There are controllers that always work all the time.

Mine done this when I played Black Ops, used to be when I died or killed someone my controller turned off then it progressed to every time I fired a gun, only thing that worked for me was restarting the game over and over again until it stopped, trading in Black Ops helped too, game sucked lol.

KBL, you may want to try changing battery packs on the controllers that aren't working with the ones at are, to see if it's an issue with the vibrations unseating the controllers' power supplies.

Ok, I bought a pack of new Duracell batteries. I tried in all of my three controllers. Out of the three, only the newest one worked. I used the battery pack from the newest one in the other two and they worked.

This shows that it is the pack that holds the batteries that is the problem. However, after blowing inside the non working battery holders, they worked. ???

We'll see how long that lasts. ;)

Didn't last long.

The second replacement controller is doing the same thing again. Batteries are the same new ones 3/4 full.

New batteries, same problem. Blowing did not fix it this time. 8(
