I can get it to work on xbox.com, but it forces me to add a debit/credit card, which I have neither. I need it to accept my Paypal account because I get money wired into it.

Ah, well that's at least good to know that it's not just me.

yeah maybe xboxlive is under like maintenance cus of the new update, lets try to wait, i was about to get the gold offer of 1 usd for 1 month, and now i cant, god, guess ill have to wait.
The weird thing is, I'm reading some of the other threads, and some people don't have issues with it either. Talk about annoying.
On the plus side, I heard that this weekend all accounts will be given free Gold (just for the weekend), to get people addicted to LIVE. Pretty cool I guess.
